Does anyone know where Dave Fernandez finished?? He beat me in the first round. I played great won the first set 5-1......but he never missed a shot and never played a bad safety. He's a real nice guy also.

I agree, and I try to do just that. Unfortunately, it's not the pre shot routine that's the problem.....it's the actual shot. I know what you're trying to say about not changing anything just because it is an important shot. But you can't trick your mind into believing that the shot is not...

Actually, that's not so obvious. The shot mentioned in the original post, I was exactly where I wanted to be, with a shot in the side that I will make 98% of the time. I missed not because of poor position, but rather the circumstance, and what the shot meant to the match. In fact, it seems...

I was playing great.....I was making every ball on a triple shimmed GC. I was getting out from everywhere and playing perfect position. My opponent had the look of a beaten man. He knew that he had no chance if I continued to play at this level. I was in "the zone".....that elusive place...

I was close again..... I let Tony off the hook in the round of 32. Had him 4-3 in the final set. On my break had a chance to run out, but caught a bad break when 3 balls got tied up. He then broke and ran the last rack to take the win. Glad he won.
