He is probably using a "focus stick." The mechanism is rooted in olfactory stimulation. When a person unscrews the cap and sniffs deeply, the aromatic molecules quickly reach the olfactory receptors in the nose. These receptors feed directly into the limbic system—the part of the brain that...

    Billiards on ESPN today !!!!!!!

You'll be watching the last several racks on YouTube then, because they ran over time and went to a football game. Pool moved to ESPN 2. There will be plenty of highlight videos on YouTube though.

    U.S. OPEN 2026, Frisco, Texas, August 25-30

Matchroom wouldn't have the negotiating power to say that they cannot be preempted. The best they could negotiate is that the conclusion would be moved to another channel in the ESPN family, as we saw tonight. That's not likely to change. I think the only way to guarantee a finish within an...

    U.S. OPEN 2026, Frisco, Texas, August 25-30

My thought on the Matchroom break rules is this: If you don't dare make a call in the final, even if you think there could be a violation, the rule is poorly written. I would say that in any sport, about any rule that invites the ref to swallow the whistle. If there is going to be a break...

    U.S. OPEN 2026, Frisco, Texas, August 25-30

    U.S. OPEN 2026, Frisco, Texas, August 25-30

This is the match that I was hoping for to turn on casuals. We need run outs, with occasional great safeties. We do not need missed balls.

    U.S. OPEN 2026, Frisco, Texas, August 25-30

Honestly, the only thing that I like about that is if there are any casuals watching, I do want them to know that it is much harder than the pros make it look, particularly on a table like this. But yes, he shouldn't dwell on that or oversell it.
