Best Cue Butts for Break Cues

I've been trying for some time to purchase a BK Rush (REVO) Break cue new or used without luck and it looks like I'll just have to wait (3 months probably) if I'm set on getting one of those for a reasonable price. There are dealers out there that have 29 and 30" BK Rush break shafts that I can...

NEW Gold AirRush S/W , Charcoal Tony Layne J/B.

How much are you asking for the BK Gold? I assume that it is a break and not a jump break cue. Is that correct?

WTB - BK Break Cue with Revo shaft

Looking for a Predator BK Break Cue with a Revo shaft (30" preferrable but not necessary) for a reasonable price. Any color and no scalpers please. Something about buying out a supply of something so you can sell it at an inflated price rubs me wrong. I have one on order, but won't get it for...

Check on a BK Rush second hand cue I'm purchasing

It was an eBay purchase and I'm not sure why it fell through. The reason given for sale cancellation was seller wanted to cancel. So, who knows? I started asking a lot of questions after the sale was completed, like was he the original owner, did have original receipt, could he tell me when it...

    BK Rush

This was not my thoughts when I posted here at all. I just loved the feel and hit by the BK Rush when I used and because of that, I want (badly) to have my own. I have not tried any of the other hi tech expensive break cues so I'm not saying it's better than any break cue, other than the lo...

    BK Rush

There was a new batch came out today. I tried my best to get one but w/o success. I got on four sites within two minutes of when they went on sale and only had a shot a two. Both of those sites gave me problems with "add to your cart" and but in both cases they were sold out within 2 minutes...

Check on a BK Rush second hand cue I'm purchasing

Well, my experience is very limited My current break cue is a McDermott Birdseye Maple butt with a McDermott break shaft with a phenolic tip/ferule. I have a reasonably good break normally but last week I was struggling. I had 6 breaks in a row dry. I realized the ferule was loose and asked a...

Check on a BK Rush second hand cue I'm purchasing

I am in the process of purchasing a second hand Predator BK Rush break cue. I'm paying too much, but am tired of trying to purchase one online. Seems it would be easy, but it's not if my experience is any indication. I'd like to verify that the cue is not a fake and not stolen. Does anyone...

Doc Frye shaft - fit of piloted shafts

I recently obtained a Doc Frye cue. I plan on making this cue my player, and I am looking to purchase a Jacoby Black carbon shaft for it. The pin is piloted 5/16x14 and I'd like to purchase a shaft that matches the diameter at the joint, and the piloted pin. Does anyone here know what cues...

Loosening the pockets on a Diamond table

If you move all rails 1/8" back, all are still parallel and square and the pockets are opened up 1/4". Not sure what you mean by "rails not square and parallel." Not sure what you mean by "pocket castings" but there is enough play between the pockets and rails for this to work, at least it did...

Loosening the pockets on a Diamond table

Maybe you are correct on a Diamond table. I assure you, I set up several Brunswick tables years back and there is some play in where the rails are located and adjusting the location opens or closes the pocket opening. It may be that you are not supposed to do it on any table, but certainly you...

Loosening the pockets on a Diamond table

So on a Diamond, you would not loosen/open the pockets, or do you mean on a Diamond that is not the correct way to loosen/open the pockets a bit.
