I was trying to make the shaft heavier due to the weight of the Butt end. I wound up removing the botton screw in weight all together. It really plays nice except for the "turning down" I did to the shaft to make a 20 inch taper....I don't have a lathe so it's not real even....oh well, live...
I'm going to order a 30" 3/8 x 10 12.4mm Kielwood from Schmelke. They will extend the pro taper to 16 inches.....great. I ruined the G-Core shaft that came with my McDermott G203....oh well, lesson learned.

Bought a McDermott with the G-Core shaft. Too light for me to use....I'm old school and need a heavier shaft. So some of the Kielwood shafts look good, I'm not sure how much they weigh? Let me know
