In the 70's and 80's I used Elk Masters. In the 90's and up until 2006 I used Le Pro and Champion. These days I use mostly Ultraskin Layered tips.

I always lightly sand tips before installing.. whether for myself or others. I can only remember one LePro tip popping off the past year while breaking with it. After gluing it back on it has been fine.

Meucci Original Classic shaft 13mm with an Ultraskin Ivory Hard tip. I have placed an order for a 12.5mm Keilwwod shaft with same tip from tg_vegas which should be here in about 8 weeks. I mostly play 8 ball.
