There are plenty of predator shafts out there with different joints. Omega billiards has some, manning cues has more. I've ordered a blank from Brett Summers. There are a few builders in Indiana and Ohio I'm looking at for finishing. Currently looking at Sickle cues, Sima cues, and Stoltman...

Fair point. I’m probably overthinking it a bit. I know the cue doesn’t make the player, but part of me still wants to see what the fuss is about with customs. I figure as long as I get something I like the feel of, it’ll motivate me to play more.

Olivier builds with a 3/8×10 modified flat-faced pin, and Predator offers the Revo in the same joint spec. On paper they should match — but I’d like to hear from anyone who’s actually put them together. Did it seat perfectly flush? And how did it play compared to the stock Olivier shaft?
