I just don't like the InFuze Kielwood shaft

Yeah, come to think of it, the pro I ordered it from had just posted a video using a prototype version of it at the time I ordered it. So it likely only came out a month or so ago. I would say the if a Revo is a 10/10 for Low Deflection, this is a 9. Very close. The taper is also really...

    Custom cue with REVO

Sorry to hear that. Had a similar experience with Jim Lee years ago. I had him make a cue for my dad, under the stipulation he could get it done in 4months. 6 months later, he hasn't started it and my dad had passed away, and I was personally in poor health and had to quit playing aswell. I...

I just don't like the InFuze Kielwood shaft

It is most definitely a 10pc spliced Kielwood shaft w/carbon core, not just the regular maple It is tapped for 3/8-10, not the 3/8-10 modified pin. Some manufacturers make it so it works on both, others don't. It fits fine on my 3/8-10 jointed Varney cue, but not my modded pin cues. It's...

I just don't like the InFuze Kielwood shaft

I started playing pool again earlier this year after a long, 15 year hiatus. I'd never used LD shafts before, but figured it was a good time to switch and learn again on one of those. I went with a 12.4 Revo. It took a little to get used to, and I eventually found I got used to it, and got...

    Great Pool Room Stories

Years ago when I started playing pool, I was at my buddy's pool hall for league night. There were these twins there, real mouthy guys who could barely speak English, but just wouldn't shut up. Anyways, one night, one of them must have had a few too many, and he had a shot to win his match...

Practice isnt going to help much if you can't figure out what you're doing wrong.

Any good teachers in Toronto/Mississauga area?

I'm more or less recovered from my surgeries, back playing regularly. I'm at the point where I feel like I've hit a plateau. I'm looking to get some instruction to take my game further. I'm primarily interested in 8/9 ball. I've contacted a few players/coaches that friends have recommended...

Might be worth asking him if he can modify your existing pockets.

    King Cases

This is my second King, after I sold my first one shortly after getting it when i thought i was done with the game due to health. Anyways, it worked out, as I love this one. Al completed it a few months ago. Nice black suede body and lizard inlays. The best feature is the full-zip pockets, so...

    Looking for decent, mid-priced cue

Yeah, thats about right. Im fine with the Abban Reddy i got. Ill use it until I hit a slump and decide the cue is the problem, then get another. Its a fairly basic 3/4, but plays quite nicely. What a difference playing with an unwarped cue makes.

Amazing! I got one of his cues a few months ago, and its fantastic. As good as any I've used. I plan to get a couple more in the future.

Pool jerseys are bad, but also not good

I just got back into the game after a 15year hiatus, and was wondering what TF was with these jerseys? They really look bad. Hopefully, they don't start wearing matching shorts.

    Looking for decent, mid-priced cue

Yeah, the cost has gone up, but the wait is insane. I actually met a guy today the the pool hall, and after talking it turns out we're from the same neighborhood in Dublin. He gave me a spare cue he had, which is quite nice. It's an Abban Reddy cue, made in Ireland. I'd still like to get a...
