Where I live, in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, the population is about 675,000. Now I would say that at one point or another at least 100,000 of these people have played "pool". I would very much doubt that out of these 100,000 , 10% have played 9 ball. That would mean that out of every 100,000...

I believe that 90% of the pool playing public either don't know about the telecasts, or if they do they don't watch them. 90% of the pool playing public do not even play 9 ball. Now if they showed 8 Ball you would have some interest. If your showing 9 ball you may as well be showing snooker...

Funny how in allenVA 's first post he seemingly knows nothing of why Charlie is not at the U.S. Open. Then in his very next post seems to know all about the UPA Whom Charlie has beaten, when and where Heck he even says that Charlie "looks like the only one trying to help the game". etc etc...

Now that Charlie Williams has won a couple of tournaments I am wondering if he has "It" By "It", I mean would his presence at any tournament automatically make it a prestigious event, thus drawing more spectators than normal. Or to put it another way, if pool was like tennis and Charlie was...
