Well, it all doesn't matter much anyway. In spite of what men want and don't want for themselves, the WPBA has often not allowed its members to participate in non-WPBA sanctioned events ("men's" events). At least the WPBA recognizes how it can hurt their product and improve the men's.

No, the reason there is a women's tour has to do with the fact they have fans who attend their tournaments. It's a product and that product has customers. Even if women play as well or better than the men, there will a women's tour.
