I'm thinking if someone buys the cues knowing this guy is in trouble w/ IRS, they would be at risk of having the cues confiscated and maybe even getting charged with a crime for being an accessory to something or other. I'm no lawyer, but I've a strong hunch this is possible.

IIRC, I have read a few posts here and/or on BD forums in which Mark Bear states that his full splice cues, including sneakies, have sharp points both ways. The one in that auction has points that are squared at the bottom. What gives?

I want to have made a full splice bocote (or is that bacote?) sneaky pete style cue with bocote joint collars and some simple ring work. Also, I would like to have the cuemaker fit an OB-1 shaft with matching joint collar and ring. What are your thoughts about who I should get to make this...
