how much for the headstock without the motor?

chris hightower will sell you the spindle and bearings for the taig lathe at a very reasonable cost so you can put a shaft through for tips and ferrules. i got one from him and the fit is as precise as it gets. the threads on the spindle are the same as a normal taig as well.

i wouldn't say these are the nicest wood cases, but here are some that i made a long time ago.

i have been using a cue with a uni-loc pin exclusively for three years, i play league once a week (twice last year) and practice once or twice a week for 3-4 hours a night, and i have NEVER had it come loose during play. i read somewhere that joint protectors are a MUST for uni-loc, so that...

my guess is it would be pretty simple. taper it over sized, then run the router vertically without the cue spinning, using indexing to get the flat spots.

i put a stack leather wrap on one of my cues, and for the first time trying it, it turned out pretty good, but it doesn't look quite as shiny as pics that i see of other peoples work. my question is; what is the "super shine spray" that chris hightower says to use in his book for removing excess...

i made something like that a little over a year ago with the "reverse" taper. i can jump long or short with it very well, some people like it, some don't. quite a few people said it jumps "too well" ... whatever that means.

actually no, i bought it for a break cue, didn't like it, cut it up to make a jump cue, didn't like it, put a softer tip on it and sold it to someone for a tight spot in their basement. i bought the thing assuming it was graphite, i honestly thought titanium was the brand name.

my opinion may not count for much seen as how i am not "well known" but i'll tell you what i know. i HAVE bought one of these "titanium" cues from wal-mart, and i HAVE cut it up. it is NOT titanium, it is graphite.

where can i find the hardware for these things? i noticed mike webb has used them, kevin deroo has them, and players uses them as well. how much are they? thanx.
