    Hoppy rail help

Hit a stand still again...no contact or phone calls being returned. Feel like I am banging my head into a wall. I have to say that dealing with Steepleton's Billards has personally been MY worst customer service/product experience thus far in life. Maybe call the BBB of Kentucky?

    Huff Cues contact

Lame "if anyone has a problem i want them to contact me." ~ Huffcues Post up a valid phone number and address if you really want people to contact you. Also at this point maybe a photo of your current driver's license. I personally don't believe you really want to be contacted, continue to...

BARBARA? Who was looking for an Airline Safe Travel Cue Case?

Solartje - You can buy replacement foam for most cases of that type either in a solid sheet, or in what is called pick-n-pluck foam. Where the sheet of foam is made up of cubes that you pull out to form what shape you want. Almost every case I have ever seen the foam comes uncut, unformed...

    Walter Tevis' wife's BCA speech

Queen's Gambit is good, although I haven't read it in years. Here is a link to some interviews with the man himself. http://wiredforbooks.org/waltertevis/ Walter had a fairly difficult early childhood, he was a bit on what I would call the "tortured" side. It comes through in his writing...

    Walter Tevis' wife's BCA speech

F.E. was a compilation of all sorts of individuals that Walter heard about and some he met. Including Eddie Parker/Toby Kavanaugh/Rags Fitzpatrick/and an old hustler that went by the name of "Fox". His story wasn't originally a novel it was a short story, which he was later encouraged to turn...

Fly with It Or Overnight It?

I used to ship mine in one of these. These things are HEAVY DUTY. http://www.swps.com/1742ricawifo.html Friend of mine turned me onto them, he demonstrated how sturdy they were by putting 3 cues in it and backing over the case with his jeep. Thought it was a bit silly but made an...

    How are the crowds there?

Actually the event COULD be sold out. Sold out means there are no tickets left for sale! It does not mean that there are no tickets left. Just that there aren't any for SALE. Common marketing ploy, often used by new acts to promote themselves in later press releases. "sold out" is NOT the...

    Hoppy rail help

Made some progress, finally got to talk with the owner/gm of the local store. He is calling the factory to get me new rails. May take a week or so for them to arrive. I was never able to connect with anyone at the head office, they never responded to a single email. Little upset about...

Still no response from the manufacturer! I also have had no luck speaking with anyone in authority from the local dealer. I know there has been a holiday in my time frame, but come on...over a week to return a call or respond to an email.

    Hoppy rail help

    Hoppy rail help

It appears so. When they installed everything it went together just fine. Until they went to attach the bolts from the underside of the table thru the slate into the bottom of the rails. Then they were like, "oppps...something isn't right....no problem we will just drill new holes and it will...

Here are some photos of what they did to move the discs when they ones from the factory didn't line up with the slate. Upon inspection I found some of the disc things are NOT flush to the wood surface. Some are below and some are above.
