The way they have the balls layed out it looks like you have to carom the 8 into the right side balls and bank the cueball back into the left side balls. Best I can figure. If that kind of pool became popular can you imagine the discussions on bank techniques on a forum like this. :D

"OK HERE WE HAVE A ONE OF A KIND 1O POCKET POOL TABLE. THERE ARE ONLY 40 OF THESE IN THE WORLD"

I thought the first two sentences were funny. :p

That has got to be the most worthless thing I have ever seen in my life. Would be pretty easy to play safe when you have a corner in the way. I would like to hear the rules on playing on a table like this. I think an 8x8 table would be pretty cool though.

The Wynkoop Restaurant/Brewery/Poolhall here in downtown Denver has one of the 8-pocket, L-shaped tables. It's a trip to play on. It's different than that 10-pocket contraption, in that you have a regular rack of balls to work with. I can't imagine any serious games taking place on either, but they make for a nice diversion.

I think it's sort of like the bumper pool tables that were so prevalent here in the 70's and I think are still used in some places in europe. They exist but does anybody know what the hell the rules are?

Yeah, I thought it was interesting too how the seller contradicts him/herself. It's a ONE of a kind and it's one of forty. Hmm... I wonder if the other 39 tables are one of a kind too. lol:)

Easy mistake.....(one of a kind) vs (different, strange). Still it would be an interesting table to have in a poolhall for really strange bets.:D

i dont know about u, but id love to play a good player on this table. its like both being vergin. anywy, i know what ill buy if i ever win the lottery and dont know what to do with my money :D

we'd need a new program to draw runout paterns too :p cant use the regular table

Can't you just see ...

2 drunk money players breaking even, and then deciding
to match up on this pocket contraption over in the corner
for $20k .... I would love to be a railbird for that ... lol

Omg

Wow, what a trip that just gave me. I actually had a dream a while back where I was playing games on a table exactly like that. I had the dream quite a while ago, but it was one of the dreams that lasted for a long time and was so detailed that I still remember having played on that type of table.

I remember all of the weird types of banks and things that you could shoot on the table. (In my dream, I think that I was playing a big match against a great player and this was the first time that we both had played on this type of table...and I quickly mastered all of the angles and shots and was able to outplay my opponent--you know...a normal type of dream where you are the superhero...LOL). I can't believe that tables like this actually exist!
