I made this video some time ago but wasn't happy with the quality. I decided "What the hell" so I posted it here. I hope it helps some people and maybe prompts discussion of other good reference shots. I posted in this forum to avoid the distractions.

Can you clarify what you mean here? I'm trying to follow the disagreement between you and PJ but I don't really understand what you are doing. Are you connecting the point on the CB closest to the pocket (the far side of the CB) with the point on the OB farthest away from the pocket? If so...

I don't think even Shane does what he says. Sure, it might be part of his pre shot routine but when he gets down on the shot he can see the cb/ob/pocket alignment and he'll just know that it looks on. That's the final check before firing away, not whether his tip is positioned here or there.

Nice idea but I think you need to edit out everything between shots. Watching the ceiling spinning around for the majority of the time is unwatchable. Not trying to be difficult. I just couldn't watch it. I know you also mentioned this.

I found, for me, that the grip particulars don't matter much except for one critical thing -- that I shoot with absolutely no tension in the hand or fingers. It isn't easy to do until you experience it, and everything you shoot at goes in. That's when I realized the majority of misses were...
