You are about 15 years too late. :) I also made a curtain video. The reason this forum doesn't have the CTE arguments anymore is that the most ardent followers have been banned from the aiming forum. You do have to admit, though, that CTE puts you in an overcut alignment, as shown here:

As they say, a lot of pool players would benefit from learning 3C a bit more.

Do you have to remove the balls one or two at a time?

If it hasn't already been said you might be a good candidate for Poolology -- an aiming method developed by BC21, Brian. It is very easy to learn and you'll be pocketing balls with it in 5 minutes after learning how it works. You can order it online for a few $.

Yeah, I'm still boycotting the templates. Seems like cheating, yet on the other hand you could say it just gives you a tight rack like you'd get on new cloth.

To me, getting to 100 for the first time requires top notch equipment. When I had my new table installed I had new cloth and new balls. I ran an 82 in no time and had numerous runs in the 50 -70 range. Years later with the cloth a bit worn and the balls not racking perfectly, I'm like a...

Maybe even they'll change the color of all the balls.

I made this video some time ago but wasn't happy with the quality. I decided "What the hell" so I posted it here. I hope it helps some people and maybe prompts discussion of other good reference shots. I posted in this forum to avoid the distractions.

I think it is more than that. I think anyone who has played seriously as a hobby or better already just sees the angles and knows when the shot looks right. You don't have to be world class to do that.
