    Wondering about this cue..

Yes Carp fishing has been catching on. They are quite the tenacious fighters once hooked. Theyll rip out 30 yards of line in no time. They also can be a challenge to get them to bite. They will literally swim around hook but will feed around it. Especially if they have been caught before.

What is a typical league night like?

Im a casual pool player a APA 4 ( just got bumped out last month)...A typical league night starts like this. I usually arrive around 615. Depending on the bar they usually open up the tables. Beating a Dead Horse Alert: pool on TV

I have a idea what about a reality show. I hate reality shows with a passion( a handful of exceptions). However, it seems they can make a reality show about the most mundane thing and people watch it. Thus we can get pool on TV...

How long have you been playing with your cue?

My current cue a Joss purchased from a AZ member just over 2 years. Before that i had a Fury for about a year, thought it was a little butt heavy for my liking. Even though at the time i had no idea what my liking was. I still probably dont know what my liking might be but the Joss feels good to...

Don't like my opponents wearing headphones!

This reminds when i first started playing in the league about 2 years ago. I had my bluetooth on my ear. Not talking to anyone just there to be there. A old foggy told me to take them off. I refused to take it off. His reasoning is that i was getting instructions from someone outside. This was...

How do you think pool can be saved across the USA?

It helps to get paying customers. I have only been to a few pool halls and only been playing pool for a little bit. Ive noticed some of these halls have mostly older retired types just hanging around since they have no other place to be i presume. They buy a cup of coffee and basically just sit...

How do you think pool can be saved across the USA?

I mentioned in a previous post about diversifying and adding other activities besides the actual pool tables. I wonder if a hit movie could generate some hype.

What do you think is the reason for so many good pool halls closing?

This is just my little opinion based on my area location. I believe in order for a pool hall to survive it needs to diversify some. Make it just more than a pool room but at the same time try not to alienate the core group. I do believe the economy has something to do with it but i think not as...
