"9-Ball" Movie???

They invited some of the league players to be extras playing in the background during the filming. I hope this film has some success. I want to see it and I want to see if I can spot myself in the background in any of the pool playing scenes.

Also, I got to meet and have my picture taken with Jeanette and Jennifer, so that was a bonus. The pool hall shown in most of the scenes is First Break in Sterling, VA. A top notch place to play pool with nice equipment and some good players.
 
Thanks for the info, does anyone know what its going to some out??? Is it just going to be a youtube short movie?
 
Ive been hearing about this movie now for a long while. Have they scrapped the idea and decide to make it into a short firm of sorts?

By the time that "9 ball" movie is completed the game will no longer be popular.

I too have been hearing about this movie for way to many years now without any word on a possible completion or release date.

I'd like to see it as well, but ... seems they have only raised $455 of the $114,000 needed. So much for fundraising!

That is just the length of time the fundraising website is available.

I have a few artsy friends that use that site for fundraising.
