I really like the "sound/feel" of bumperless and since I have been using it for a long time I really don´t have to think about being careful - it´s in the "system" :-). However - don´t lend it to someone else - great rule :-).

To reduce the weight and so create a shaft that deflect more/faster. stiffness has to do with the taper of the shaft, more conical - stiffer imo. regards Chrippa
