    What was your first cue?

    1965, just before a 4 year hitch in the Navy, I got a AMF with a big butt tapering to a near snooker tip. It is 57" and defiantly old school design. It has been all around the Pacific, up and down the west coast, and is still in the poolroom closet.

    The stuff I have is about 1.5 inches thick, flat layered, and made with a denim like material not linen. I haven't turned any round so don't know how it would look. I have used it for a butt cap on a pistol grip rifle stock, and it polished well.
