What is the story behind Instroke cases? What's the difference between these two companies? (There are two different companies right?)

The rings are interesting. The closer to the joint the rings are, the more ivory is in them. Notice how the proportion of white to black changes. Can't say I've ever seen rings do that.

I absolutely disagree with the previous opinions. I really like the wrap on this cue. I love how it's not what's traditionally seen and it matches the forearm wood opposed to the butt and the points. Very nice looking cue.

Hey, thanks a lot for posting that. I went to the one in Turningstone a few months ago and it was great. I was wondering when I was going to start hearing about the one in August. Glad to see the list of Pros going. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun again.

I don't understand why you think this is such a high price for a Gilbert cue with a leather wrap, ivory joint and Schick-like pin. To me the price seems low. If it was just a 4 point cue with no extras I'd maybe see your point.
