    Cole Dickson's practice session routine

Back in Jersey as a kid in the early '60's I would give lesser players the break in 6 ball. Most of them had not figured out that breaking in a ball was almost impossible.

    Short Rack One Pocket/Single Elimination

Got this idea about short rack 11 ball from Mike Massey. He said put the 11th ball in line with the head ball. The 11th ball is racked in the back in line with the head ball per the flyer.

Who is the best player of the last 40 years not to win a major event?

I'll add Neptune Joe Frady(RIP) from N.J. to your above list. Joe was a real good player that could beat anyone on a given day.

    One Pocket (Grady Rule)

yes sometimes an inning passes then we see a ball that should spot and it gets spotted. The kitchen is the kitchen right? We are a couple of old guys well past 70 and we bet $5 a game so rules are kind of loose.

    One Pocket (Grady Rule)

We play as soon as there are 4 in the kitchen the closest to the rail is spotted. Really speeds up the game and adds a bit of strategy.

A List of the Greatest Pool Players of All-Time

I knew Brian and his backer . His backer told me that Brian played the Miz getting the 7 and broke even. I've played pool with Brian and he could play and getting the 7 from the Miz and breaking even tells me the Miz was as good as anyone.

which are the latest most popular cue tips?

I can't tell the difference between a layered tip and a solid one other than the big difference in cost. I use solid tips and they work just fine.

    Passing of Jack Colavita

Neptune Joe Frady worked unloading ships at Earle Navy base in N.J. Early '60's a pretty good player named Ernie Lager would go to north Jersey to play Jack,it was always at night and a big crowd would watch. I was 15 or 16 and now and then Ernie would take me with him.

Was it a mistake to get a unilock playing cue? It keeps making a rattling noise whenever there is vibration.

My uni-lock Lucasi never binds or comes loose,I do clean the threads and insert about once a year with a Q tip dipped in alcohol. The weight bolt did come loose once and a good tightening fixed that. It's 16 years old and still straight and the finish is like new. Lucasi makes a fine cue.

The best I ever saw in person was the early '60's and I watched Irving Crane run 141 balls.

    Ernie Martinez Cue 4-Sale

Here in Colorado there are a lot of Ernies cues and while I dont have one I have hit balls with a bunch of them. His cues are so neutral balanced they just glide like on an air cushion.

    Great shipping … NOT! 😂

I love Amazon because it keeps me out of Walmart. Living in Denver most items are delivered the next day or two days out, once in awhile if it comes direct from the producer it can be a week or so but they will state that. A few items have had iffy packaging but arrived intact and returns are...
