CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

We were talking about Ozzy Reynolds getting banned from AZ.

CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

If league pool was a buy or sell stock -- I'd sell right now at a high. I think they are going to hit a wall in the next couple of years because one of their systemic advantages is being able to rate players, and then use this insider information to field competitive team events. Players...

CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

Yeah I did some searching. I think he got banned for having multiple accounts. It had a lot to do with how they treated JCIN after the takeover. I think they sort of took advantage of his whole TAR operation and sent him on his way.

CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

Yeah I would have left out the insults about the Predator tables, which some players actually like. He threw some other petty insults in there that hurt his case a bit. Still -- I'd rather live in a world where people expect good customer service than one where we continue expecting it to be...

    Tips For This Shot

Thought for sure you were going to complete the most epic troll of all time and link to a picture of the break shot. In my experience, jacked up shots are never mastered. Instead, they have to be continually practiced. If you can't make the shot in question, move the ball closer to the pocket...

CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

He's not trying to make a legal issue out of this, at least as far as I can tell. He can speak for himsel, but I'm guessing he understands this isn't worth pursuing legally. Didn't Ozzie from CSI get banned from AZ years ago? I can't remember the circumstances, but I think that happened.

CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

I think so many of us are so used to poor customer service everywhere we turn, that our lines in the sand are hard to see anymore. You are sort of screwing yourself out of playing, but refusing to pay the late fee is admirable to a certain extent.

    Recent Facebook banter regarding fargo

My only remaining FR question is about player variability. My intuition tells me that the better the player, the closer they'll be to playing at their rating. I'm thinking the lesser player will play over a much wider range. Here I guess, we would have to couple FR and TPA. My problem or...

    2025 Men's World 10-Ball Championship, Sept. 20-28 -- General Comments Thread

How Hunter Lombardo (739) still manages to get any invites is curious. I imagine his pool playing is a net negative. I'm guessing he makes his money with instruction but I really don't have a clue. He's certainly had an interesting journey.

    9 and out from nowhere

I was playing some 1P this weekend and was explaining my theory that 1P is way easier for the elite players to play because their shot percentages are so much higher than us mortals. If they are 95 percent to shoot a shot and the mortal is 75 percent, the calculations are so much more difficult...

    My Fargorate progression

It's actually pretty amazing how well people can play when they AREN'T cueing straight. I'm going through a similar thing right now. Just returning to the basics and drilling straight in shots, has me getting closer and closer to straight every day. I think one of biggest differences between...

    Finally Made It To Evansville

I wondered what your thoughts were on the Diamond barbox. I think those are a good test for players all the way up to about FR 750. Not sure I would ever want to spend my practice time on one, but if I had room for 2 tables I'd consider getting one.

Sigel would have ran 10 and out. 😀

    1990s 9-ball McCready vs. Paez

Pool players have longer careers than most other athletes, so by necessity the incoming players must be as good as the current best players if they want to make a living. If they want to beat - say a 35 year old Darren Appleton they have to be better than him. So SVB comes along with a much...

    Recent Facebook banter regarding fargo

I think it works at the higher levels of play for the most part. I do think it can fall apart at times based on the game, as some top pros can get so close to mastery that a player only 50 FR points below them can get beat more handedly than expected. For instance with the WNT format, the top...

I'm guilty and wanna pay you back. Sorry.

Being a man of such fine tastes as you are, you may want to know that the female in question has been drawing her social security for a couple decades now. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    1990s 9-ball McCready vs. Paez

Honestly -- we may be over complicating things. I love these old matches as much as anybody, but a large part of what makes them interesting is probably the fact that they just aren't as good as today's players. This makes the racks more interesting. Couple that with the more...

SVB’s wrist movement during his stroke and his changes over the years

Maybe. 😀 I just don't think a longer cue helps most players cue straighter. I get why they do it, as it feels interesting playing with an extension on. But does it actually help? I'm skeptical as it's sort of obvious that the longer your cue gets the more it's affected by minor arm movement...

    2025 Men's World 10-Ball Championship, Sept. 20-28 -- General Comments Thread

The whole shootout idea just misses the mark. The shootout itself may be interesting and even exciting to a certain extent. It's what the shootout replaces -- a potential HILL - HILL rack that's nuts. If these types of racks aren't the most exciting spectacle in all of cue sports than what is...
