Thoughts on the G2 cue tips

G2 are great tips. Slightly cheaper than zan or kamui tips. Be careful of getting fakes from online though. Buy from reputable sources.

    Tip burnish

very nice pics. i could not get the same result, possibly because i am just using leather and turning it slowly by hand. the beeswax made the tip a little greasy too. anyway i decided to leave it alone. thanks for posting the pics tho

Does this tip looks like it need replacing?

that is quite plausible. i'll have to tell him not to leave any old tip during the next install i wouldnt have noticed it if not for the unusually loud ping during normal play yesterday.

Does this tip looks like it need replacing?

i have a williard tool too, great tool.. i seldom shape my tip. i always feel tips are supposed to be self shaping during play. But its a great nifty tool to bring along and can fit in any cue case.

Does this tip looks like it need replacing?

thank you !! thats good to know, i remembered you mentioned not to remove the red pad before. maybe i got a fake G2, which kinda explains the poor layer quality and the glossed up surface.

Does this tip looks like it need replacing?

yup, the tip is becoming glossy, i am ok with this as i chalk frequently. its a G2 medium for whats its worth, it played decent until i saw the damaged area Hu i think i'll take your advice and just slap on a new tip. i think the red pad needs to stay on though. there's some predator warranty...

Yes the sliver looks huge enough to bother me. I remembered the previous triangle tip i put on didnt have this issue.

Does this tip looks like it need replacing?

There is a red silencer pad that came with the revo above the white line. The tip was installed above the red silencer pad, i think... It does looks bad and i kept blaming miscues and misses on this tip

Does this tip looks like it need replacing?

I am not sure if that came with the tip or it was additional pad. But I wasnt asked to pay for a additional pad, iirc. That black color layer looks to be flaking or coming apart...

Does this tip looks like it need replacing?

There seems to be some damage between the tip and the fiber pad on my revo Is this a bad install or wrong glue used? I do not know if the fiber pad needs replacing too, that might be a problem as there are no predator rep near me.
