Recently i observed a new trend on changing ferrules to those clear acrylic colored ferrules on cf shafts
Not sure what benefits it brings but i wouldnt want to do this to the revo warranty or design.

It is during the bridge hand resting on the rail, hitting the cb downwards at an angle where i always fail the test as in the picture you shown earlier.
I ran out of pro taper even before cueball...

by the way my break cue weighs around 17.8oz, definitely fly off faster and crushes the rack better

I reduced my break cue weights recently too.
What tip do you have on your break cue?
I am currently on kamui sai but dont really like it.
After trying with 3 in extension, the hit changed from crisp hitting to a duller feedback.
I am not sure if its imagined, but i felt like some slight power transfer is lost after putting on the extension.
