White vault plate vs Black vault plate, does it matter?

I have both Revo versions. I don’t notice any difference when switching between them.

The first one I bought used and it was black. The next ones I ordered brand new in white. Each is good.
 
I don't see the difference myself. I focus on the tip of the tip and ball. I switched from an Ivory Ultraskin to a Blue SIB (C) and didn't notice a thing. but like every other part of the cue (debated throughout AZB) it's personal preference.

(A and B) are the same shaft. shortly after making it he asked to have the white ferrule changed to black. He was used to a CF shaft before.

(D and E) is mine. I was using a Samsara tip. I added the white phenolic pad more for the look. I could have used a dark color. Going from a black tip to a psychedelic C4 again had no effect on my aim.

F is all dark. She said any white would be distracting.

To each their own. Make it and Play it how you like.

Recently i observed a new trend on changing ferrules to those clear acrylic colored ferrules on cf shafts

Not sure what benefits it brings but i wouldnt want to do this to the revo warranty or design.
