Video: Cowboy Jimmy Moore aiming system?

At 10:56 in the video, Allen Hopkins says, "Look at the way he aims." While viewing, I get the feeling that Hopkins knows something about the technique Moore is using and is about to go a little more in depth about it. But that added commentary never materializes. What is clear is that Hopkins...

Video: Cowboy Jimmy Moore aiming system?

At 9:06 in this video, you can see a pretty clear aiming method in play. Aside from the fact the man was a HOF player who had hit millions of balls into the center of the pocket, does anyone have any insights into how Moore approached aiming? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY2wCC9EXIc

Alex Pagulayan Flip Coin for $10k. What was that about?

The amount of money aside, a coin flip -- assuming the coin is legit -- is better odds than practically any single gambling event in a casino. It also seems to me to be the fairest/truest gamble available in a pool room; and that is likely why so many "gamblers" quickly run away from it.

    Tim Scruggs box cue

Thank you all for the great information. To clear up a previous point, the shafts are still very functional and the threads are not stripped. I was just curious where people are having their Scruggs replacement shafts made. I'm glad to learn more about the ACME pin. These shafts take much more...

    Tim Scruggs box cue

I purchased this cue from Tim Scruggs in 1998 for $2,500 and sold it in a moment of weakness a few years later. The second owner happens to be a good friend who may eventually sell it back to me. I had a chance last night to take a few pictures of it that I thought I'd share. Everything white...

    Thoughts on a 17'10" x 22'2" space?

Any thoughts on a 17'10" x 22'2" room for a 9' table? I know it surpasses the minimum reccomended dimensions but will it provide for a comfortable playing area? Due to one side of the space acting as a hall of sorts, I'll have to keep the table centered in the room; possibly impacting an...

Thank you for the info. I hate to admit it but I didn't even know cushions came in different profiles... How does a K55 play differently than a K66?
