I would love to, but to be honest I'm not sure if there is a single person around with a custom here. I'm fairly sure the old guy playing 9-ball the last time I was out practicing was using a Josey, but there isn't a single person I know with a custom never mind knowing me enough to let me try it.

Hi everyone, thanks for all of the replies. I took two pieces of advice actually and splurged a bit. I ended up buying a used sugartree off of the buy/sell forums, and I've also been talking to Bryan Mordt about having him make me a cue. I'm very excited about both of them though. Thanks a ton!

Unless it was an original Balabuska, I'm buying the cue to play with. I now own something - or will in a few days - that actually has a decent price tag, but it's what I'm going to be playing with.

Yeah, I got an email from Mike yesterday saying they haven't been able to get to the shop. Not sure when they will be back. He was responding from his phone so I'm not sure how often they are even able to check email.
