    First Quality Cue

Will do! Can't say I'll have a lot of experience to go from with my limited playing time on competitor cues, but I'll give it my best. I decided to go ahead and send McDermott a email about my experience. I really did want one of their cues, but I'm staying away from proprietary joints. My...

    First Quality Cue

I got antsy and tired of waiting and found pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Ended up ordering a Predator LE4 with the 314^2 from Nielsen's Billiards. (Read about them here on the forum previously). Should be here first half of next week. Can't want to rack 'em!

    First Quality Cue

I also want to say I really appreciate everyone responses and opinions. . . That's what I'm looking for here! I'm looking at OB now too. Here's what I've decided: I want to stay away from a custom cue at this point. 3 reasons: Don't have enough experience to know measurements for a custom...

    First Quality Cue

I feel like a pretty big noob now. So with that in mind here's my importance. LD Shaft (Only reason I'm getting a new cue at this point, my GW Collection Que is a pretty quality stick and is still hitting pretty good) Soft Hit - I like to get some feedback. I wish I remembered the tip I put on...

    First Quality Cue

I think it's funny 3 have mentioned the Le4. That is probably my favorite looking cue so far, and exactly what I'm looking for. Only thing about it is not very many places are selling it and I think 630 is a little steep for it. I'd like to be around 500 for that cue if possible.

    First Quality Cue

What do you recommend. I wouldn't even know where to start with a custom cue.

    First Quality Cue

Cliffs at bottom: I've been doing lots of research and finally hit a brick wall. I'm between a Predator with a 314^2 or a McDurmott with an i2 shaft. That said, I'm around the 500-800 price range after I hopefully find a decent deal. Going to throw out pro/cons of both. I'd really like to have...

    bravo Seyberts

I placed an order there. It was my first online pool purchase per recommendation from a forum member. I accidentally put the wrong address (College address, my building address and not the delivery box) I realized it, called them. Got an answer right away, was asked to verify a few things and it...

what do you think of tan chalk?

I played with Masters red and just recently switched to Blue Diamond. It's great stuff, color doesn't really bother me. Which is lucky for me because Blue Diamond is only available in blue.

    Can AZBILLIARDS improve your game?

Definitely! I have found a lot of good information on this site. One of my favorites has been the video encyclopedia's of pool thing. I had no idea about squirt and swerve. I always wondered why I would miss that clutch shot at the end that I wanted to put some hard side spin on. Watched that...

Do you dress up to play?

I'm trying to figure out how someone plays in a suit. A jacket and or long sleeves is too much for me. I need to have that stuff to be out of my way. I don't really play competitive yet, just an under 21 league I just started. I would imaging the most I would go would be similar golf. Slacks...

    General Questions about my Equipment

Thanks for the information. Very helpful. I actually tracked it down to a GW3 from the Signature Series. http://www.poolsuperstars.com/gw.php I don't really know if that is good or bad. From the looks of it I got a pretty good deal at $175 for 2 shafts. I can't find anymore information on it...

How good is your break shot? The good, the bad, and the ugly-

I think I have a really good break when I get a hold of it. (Most of the time) I personally think it is derived from my golf swing. I come back and let my hips rip though the shot. I get comments all the time on how powerful it is. I often wonder if my ball position is correct though. I use my...

What is your goal in pool?

My goal is to get better and continue to improve my game. I'm still fairly young, so I think I have a ways to go. I'm in a league for people under 21, so I'm hoping I can win that. Honestly I think I stand a decent chance at doing it. I guess my minor goal right now is to not loose any money...

Help Me Pick out a Jump Break Cue: Recommendations and Reviews

So does he sell them, and where's a link. Do they fall in my category of under 100?

Get me a link or something more than just a name and I'll give him a holler. I searched his name and got nothing.

Help Me Pick out a Jump Break Cue: Recommendations and Reviews

I like that, and I understand that the better things do one thing really well instead of 2 decent. However I just want a stick that does a little bit of both. I can always upgrade, and probably will. I really just want something to jump, but I thought it was a good idea to get a dedicated break...

Help Me Pick out a Jump Break Cue: Recommendations and Reviews

You got a link to that? I'd say I'm an average player. I'm not going to put up a fight with good competition, but I'll get a few good racks in. I can jump a little bit with my playing cue, but not nearly as well as I want. Which is why I'm seeking a jump cue. If I get a good break in I can run...

Help Me Pick out a Jump Break Cue: Recommendations and Reviews

Thanks for the recommendation. I was at first leaning towards the Players because the name was familiar. (Even though I'm not familiar with half of the names, and my familiarity probably isn't a sign of quality) but I saw the second one for the same price with the "Stainless Joints" and it got...
