You might not like his style but in the history of the Derby Challenge Dennis has been the most consistent high run participant. He runs over a hundred 3 or 4 times each year while generally taking the fewest attempts. He's never failed to qualify and has won the event twice. Very impressive...

After forming the rack against the bottom rail I move the first two rows of balls (5 balls) into place than I grab the second two rows (9 balls) and move them into place. When the cloth was new I used the actual rack but after a couple of months of break shots the cloth is trained enough to hold...

It's not really that hard. The cloth gets trained after about a month of breakshots so the balls find their little dimples when you slide them into place. Danny Barouty and Oliver Ortmann are good at it too.

Pockets are 5 inch just like a standard Gold Crown. The Metro has the same slates and rails as a standard Gold Crown. Same exact size as the Gold Crowns at Steinway Billiards where the World Tounrament is held. The Tournament Edition Gold Crowns and Metros have 4.5 inch pockets. -Bill
