    What a tool!!!

I think he may have called it in the corner - he raises his hand - but we can’t fully see if he is pointing to the corner.

    Waste of money pool items

The measles cue ball is not heavier than other Aramith cue balls when new. But cue balls, especially the Aramith red circle do get lighter with heavy use over time.

    Waste of money pool items

You don’t play much 9 ball? Because if you do - quite often when hooked, the situation dictates that a jump shot is a higher percentage shot vs a kick shot.

    Rasson Table/Mosconi Cup

Yup - just like in the other video, you can see the 7 ball hitting down in the back of the pocket and then hitting the top of the ball down in the front of the pocket before it bounces out. So - as was mentioned above - two balls in the pocket might prevent this from happening.

US Open 9-Ball, 2023, Atlantic City, Sep 25-30

Yes - at the BCA/CSI Nationals at the Rio last February- because they were streaming all the Pro event tables - they continually played the royalty free music at the entire venue - and it absolutely sucked.

    Cost of Tip Replacement

I don’t think he meant the install price by itself was more - I think he was factoring in the price of the tip also.

What are you cleaning your cloth with?

I also like to use Woolite on my Simonis 860HR - but find a little goes a long way. I use at most a half of a cap in a bucket of warm water.

BK Rush break cue - with OR w/o the sport grip?

So on a wrapless BK Rush, a groove can be cut for a wrap? The butt is not carbon fiber like the shaft?

Scott Frost's opinion about Predator tables

All the Predator 7’ tables I have played on had corner pockets that measured very close to 4.5”. And the Predator 7’ table corner pockets definitely play easier than corner pockets on Diamond 7’ tables( pro cut - 4.5”)

    DerbyCity responce

Several of the regular tournaments here use Digital Pool - it sends a text to the players when their match is up - and it utilizes live scoring that either player can do on their smart phone including submitting the score at the end of the match.

    Cue wiz

Yes - have had the same 5 or 6 that I rotate for several years. They become a little less abrasive over time but don’t really wear out. Keep one in my pocket to use every time I play. Better than anything similar for smoothing and burnishing the shaft.

You make the call: Bridge Stick? (Billiards Digest, Feb issue)

Yes - this - for instance, if I lay my playing cue on the table while I reach under the table to retrieve the bridge stick, that is NOT a foul since I am not using it for aiming. Sometimes I lay my cue on the table while removing the template rack after a break shot - that also is not a foul.

    Not A Violation?

How many times have you put your bridge hand down on the cloth and felt a small piece of chalk that would be hard to see but very well could affect the roll of a ball? Has happened many times with me - I then pick the small piece of chalk up off the table or brush towards a pocket. So I can...

Would 8 ball be much more interesting to the general TV viewing public if....

Rule #1 - the players can either shake or bank for the break?? Maybe “bank for the break” means to lag? Any idea what “shake” means?
