I agree, it's rare not shooting this shot one or more times in a single game. I'll add that practicing this shot without shaving the long rail with the ob is a good habit.
I think the problem is the game itself. It's strange that I prefer to watch snooker to pool (although I don't watch it a lot), but I love to play pool and playing snooker bores me...
For some reason I see snooker more atractive to watch, its esthetic, the dynamic of the game, etc. I know a lot...
I'll tell you why. It's is impossible in Europe to make a living just playing pool unless you live in Netherlands (and being a monster) or be Ralf Souquet (sponsors), there isn't enough tournaments/tours. There is very little action here :frown:
As an example, the winner of an Eurotour gets only...
I like a lot Raymund Faraon's stroke.
Also saw Pidge's one and liked it very much, I do it in a similar way. It can look robotic and not fluent but you feel great once you train and get used to it.
Also Ko Pin Chung, great stroke, and althougt Ko Pin Yi stroke looks fancier, I would prefer to...
No, friction depends of velocity between surfaces, it's less with more velocity. Rolling velocity counts, if balls contact when one is rolling at high speed, friction is lower than if it were sliding. Touching balls are the ideal situation to maximize friction because they are not rolling at the...
I will bet for Francisco Díaz! I competed with him last weekend and he is in a very good form, current 9ball euro champion., 2º in 10ball, 3º in 14.1 ... sadly not very well known in the US
Like Dr. Dave, Bob Jewett, etc. people that really knows what is happening in there when the cue hits the ball and can quantify and describe it with equations and numbers. Feeling is ok, but numbers rule...
sorry but you can do anything with any shaft on the market, no matter its tip diameter or taper... maybe the shaft gives not enough confidence to you when you shoot and you hit neared to the center than you may think
nice video thanks.
About you statement, sorry but the shot is very easy... any pro will do it without any effort, even easier. If you want to see some effortless stroke, take a look to Raymund Faraon or Ko-Pin brothers (specially Chung) ;)
