I was wondering if anyone thinks it matters which side the cue ball ends up on. Are there shots a lefty or a righty might have more difficulty with if i left them on the end rail on one side or the other?

I dont have much experience with this but... I would think there are two different skill sets that have been mastered here. In pool, esp. rotation games I think players naturally spin the ball more and in snooker they dont try to as much. I think the stroke, the stance, the strategy and mind...

My vote would be 10 ball or straight pool... But i think that playing on a 5X10 table would be better as well. My reason for these picks is that as a sport I believe we need a dominant force in the game. A player so much better than the rest. A Tiger Woods (pre-scandal). Its kinda funny...

There will be a qualifier for the men's amateur Nationals this weekend at In The Corner Billiards (448 Welland ave. St Catharines) on saturday April 30th. Registration at 12 noon til 12:30. Race to 9 double elimination. 25 dollar entry fee. Every eight players pays one entry, up to 2 spots paid.
