Hi, I have two unused OB shafts. Don Owen, the “O” in OB Cues was a very good friend of mine. I did not use LD shafts and he insisted. I got two different generations of shafts, Don sent them directly to Searing who matched the ringwork to my Searing cue. I’ve had the two shafts for years...

I largely agree with this. The wrap looks decent. Any cuemaker worth his salt could give the cue a good cleaning and you’d be surprised how good it can look. All the shafts look iffy. Thin, probably warped, not sure. Certainly I would NOT refinish anything on the cue. What you have was done...
