    joints ty for the info, i was wondering from what here i feel like wood joints make the cue fragile. when you have a wood joint are you still able to hit hard for those tricky shots

    i would like a wood on wood joint but im afraid it will need maintenance, and how can u link your style of play with the joint and tip, and shaft size you will need. also, can you guys recomend some nice tips on the softer side i have a lepro tip right now and i don like it its too hard. thanks guys

    thanks thanks boys for all the good advice, would you guys recommend a pool instructor if one wants to play tournament pool or just run tables at bars for fun, because i can make shots and place the cue ball but i have no formal training. if so were should i look for an instructor i live in...
