    Jason Shaw, classless?

Count the number of Facebook posts and forum posts discussing the gracious handshake between Kaci and Thorpe. There’s your answer. Rivalries generate interest, and it’s easier to create a reverse fan base (I’ll cheer for anyone who’s playing THAT GUY!) than to get people genuinely interested in...

Wanted: 9ft Diamond or Gold Crown

Hi, I’m in Grovetown GA and am selling my GC3 with rails redone by Mark Gregory. He’s coming in the next couple weeks to bring my diamond rails back, he lives near you so I can see if he’s game for taking the GC3 back with him.

    Diamond smart table teeter-totter

I just got a Diamond 9’ Smart Table for my home. The price was right, and it’s functionally the same as the Pro-Am that I wanted but couldn’t find. Since it’s my home table, I’ll never use the coin op feature. Since it’s on free play mode, the teeter-totter just cycles with each ball as it...

    Collector Meucci Texas Cue

Bought one off your linked website; surprised to see them not sold out after all this time. The website lists, under specs, a black dot shaft and an Ultimate Weapon shaft. Looking forward to using the UW shaft for the first time.

Mosconi Cup - is there any way to tune in ?

ESPN 3 is covering again if I’m not mistaken. I thought I saw an ad stating as much. ESPN 3 is available on Apple TV or on apps. Past couple years has been good quality.

Accelerating faster / harder punch equipment - where to find?

The product is PET expandable braided sleeving. It's commonly used for electronics to keep wires organized. If you don't find a suitable supply that will send to Norway, I'll send a few bits for the cost of postage. The material I have is black, but should otherwise be identical.

Black crown table and dyson jet focus hot/cool heater

You'd have us believe your boundless table construction and playability knowledge doesn't include appropriate environmental conditions?

    Delta rack

Thanks, I didn't know they did away with the powdercoated racks- not much need to keep up with current products if you don't have to replace the existing one.

We need AFFLUENT people to shoot pool!! 💡

We NEED a 35 page manifesto on how to fix pool and standardize "bar rules", and we MUST HAVE a proceduralized accounting of the more difficult strategies associated with higher-level play. First on the agenda should be the Ram Shot!

    Delta rack

To the point of your post: aside from construction, the biggest functional difference to me is that the Elite is anodized vs. the select model's powder coated finish. While robust, powdercoating is a coating and can wear away or chop, leading to racking irregularity. Anodizing won't suffer the...

Suggestions/Avail Products For Marking Stored Shafts

If your info won't fit on a sticker on j/p's, a strip of Tyvek or similar material that resists tearing could be sandwiched between the shaft and protector. Write on it with a marker, poke a hole in the end for the j/p pin, and screw it on.

Looking for a rack for a pool hall

With Diamond racks, I've noticed the head ball sticking as well a lot of times. I always blame it on the finish, or filth on the rack or the balls. Wood is succeptible to wear, and when the balls are repeatedly pressed into the rack to get them tight, it slowly wears the sides down and negates...

    Hurricane VS Predator Cues

Hurricane Cues are made in the Charleston, SC area. I've seen a few and they seem well made and liked by those who have them. Aside from the maple vs low deflection shaft choice, I'd recommend buying what you like better in the design. If you like the Hurricane cue, a low deflection shaft can...

    game counter balls

I've seen ping pong balls and whiffle balls strung on fishing line. It's cheap and effective. I bought and drilled holes through some 1.25" pool balls to put on a brass 1/8" rod. Still cheap but better looking, you just need sturdier support than with the lighter options.

It's not how often you miss...Low level 9 ball

I'm in your target audience, and I'll give you my perspective. When I'm playing a runout player, I'm aware of the cost of my mistakes and I tend to make better decisions because of it. I'll still lose because of poor implementation, but the strategy was sound. Playing someone similar in...

    Lasik Question

It's vision correction surgery... they don't implant bionic angle finders or aiming aides. If your corrected vision now doesn't include physical impediments (having to work around frame line-of-sight issues, lens distortion, etc) then you can't realistically expect any effect on your pool...

So now that brexit has passed .... What happens to team europe at the mosconi

Europe, the continent, still exists in all respects unrelated to the trade and economic union voted on recently. It's the same as if Canada decided to exclude themselves from NAFTA... They would still be Canada and they'd still be in North America. In short, Brexit should have zero effect on...

Meucci will do a decent job at best; I will not send another cue to them.
