I like the way Clay Etheridge did His Showcase sneaky Pete's, He just stamped an 'S' on the butt.

So I got confirmation from the maker of this cue. He was the Doug Leech on Facebook. This is what he told me. "Yes that is one i made many years ago. It was when i first started making cues. I made them and was giving them to friends and family"

I think he lives in Wheeling W.V. if it's the same guy he is apparently a player and a cue maker. I base the cue maker part only because I found a post on Facebook where someone asked him "How's that cue coming" I have reached out to him I'll let you know if I hear back.

Doug Seeth? is that what it say's? I just can't make it out.

And for some reason you can't just buy a nice setup.

I have used a rather inexpensive shoe polish for years with very impressive results. I have Bic4 from my day's of wearing some nice leather boots. I think I'll be okay with what I know. I was expecting a Long list of preferred products actually.

It is 33 inches outside length. The standard length was 32.

So I went and dug up an extra long old viking case sold as a snooker cue case in the famous Patent leather snake skin. And the Brand new un used? Mint condition 1x2 snake with the super plush interior and the Viking logo on the cap. Anyway, I thought i had one or two of them and They are very cool!

I would be interested in a top quality polish to make it shiny like new after it is all clean and conditioned, Something for the final polishing? Not many cleaners or conditioners leave a highly glossy finish like the original factory new look. Most of them are not actual polishes. They are...

So can assume that was a 1x2 originally, and you replaced the thin cloth with a JB interior? There were two lengths of those cases made. One is actually longer made to hold snooker cues. Pretty hard to find them though. I may still have one.

Those are really nice cases. I think I still have one in the snake pattern. If I kept the one I think I did it's never been used. I'll have to dig it out and shoot some pictures. Those had really nice interiors .

I think it's a carom cue. I will get the measurements. Aren't most snooker cues rather long? This cue is rather short. Heck, I don't know much about either one actually.

I came across a very nice 'Superior cue' made in the UK by John Parris. It's an Ebony butt four point cue with the butterfly veneered lower end and four sharp points and an Ash wood shaft. I have searched far and wide to find one with sharp points rather than butterfly points. Does anyone here...

If it is in fact a common model and not a one of a kind as it is represented to be, Then I don't find any issue letting that be known. If I offer an original Babushka for sale that is not in fact just that, it would go 20 pages or more. and no one would say "then don't buy it" I like accurate...
