So many tips to choose from.

You are totally clueless.. Factor in costs in that figure and the $30 profit looks very, very different. Are you even aware of how much machinery and the products we use cost? Not only that, do you think we stock 5 tips in a corner somewhere? Every time I order from Taom, Kamui, Caiden or any...

Well, now I've went and done it.

You need a epoxy that suitable for the job. 5min epoxy, regardless of the brand is junk! Use a slow cure epoxy. Get a scale that accurately measures small amounts, lay a playing card on the scale, power it on, weight out equal parts of the epoxy (or whatever ratio the manufacturer recommends.)...

Tomahawk is a vastly better material than the brittle ferrule material Rhino uses.

    Mosconi cup SOLUTION

I don't think the type of cloth, pocket size etc. Is the explanation, that sounds like a cope to me. The format itself seems broken or alt least needs a rethink. Look at the level of today's players it has improved considerably the last 15 years or so, simple patterns, the break now the most...

Extra Deflection on Mosconi Cup Table??

All of the players in question are very familiar with those conditions in this case.

Introducing the new Bitman rack 😳

Vinyl covered plywood and some rubber bumpers. Total cost for a rack, probably $25. CNC machines and lasers don't cost what they used to do, so even factoring in equipment, time, web site hosting and so on $500 is just wild.

Extra Deflection on Mosconi Cup Table??

Well It's the same for every player, so that's a moot point I get that Bob, but we are talking Mosconi cup level players here. These are supposed to be some of the best players in the world. These players play under all kinds of conditions with all kinds of equipment, some of the skill for a...

Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

I don't see them very often, so they might be popular in Italy, but there's so much else to choose from, so Becue doesn't seem to have a particular big market share. When you look at the pictures that show some of the production facilities it's more basic than you might think. I have spotted a...

    Custom shaft questions

The problem is once you weaken the "spine" of the shaft it will loose all stiffness. You could do as Joey suggests and have a shaft made from purpleheart, that would work much better.

Cue Points and Similarities; Huebler and Joss vs. Giuli

Some combinations just go well together, like yellow/orange/black so you get that fire look. Or just red/black, blue/black. The black paper gives a nice sharp contrast to the veneer colour(s) you want to use and makes it pop more.

    Custom shaft questions

No, it would be about the same. Sugar Maple - https://www.wood-database.com/hard-maple/ White Ash - https://www.wood-database.com/white-ash/ European Ash - https://www.wood-database.com/european-ash/ As you see the properties in terms of density, elastic modulus etc. is very similiar to each other.

    Custom shaft questions

I've never come across a carbon fibre shaft I would call whippy, it's really the opposite of the inherent qualities of carbon fibre. If you for some reason want a whippy shaft, then get an old Meucci shaft, those things where about as soft as a maple shaft can be. If you showed up at my shop, my...

    Whyte Carbon Adapter Question Plz

The easiest approach is to get a spare big pin insert, bore it out as much as you dare. Then thread a piece of phenolic whatever threads you need and after that turn it to fit the new I.D of the Triple 60 adapter and glue it very carefully in, making sure you don't get epoxy pooling in the end...

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

Triple 60 shafts are high quality shafts. The break shaft has a nice taper and feel to it, not as jarring as day Cuetec and Predator. Changing the tip to something like a Gator or SAI will give you better cue ball control. The prices are about the same as other big brands, the interchangeable...

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

A Jflowers would honestly be a big downgrade. The KAI is still one of the best break cues out there and you can buy a CF shaft for that like the Triple 60 break shaft, I have sold quite a few of those combos or you could have a shaft made. Will there be a significant difference? Nah I don't...

    Bob Flynn Denali Cues?

Bob's website is still up and running. www.denalicues.com Bob made full length core cues, all made with a purpleheart core. He's prices was very reasonable. I'm pretty sure the finish was CA, which I'm honestly not a huge fan of, but all in all it was a very good product considering the price.
