    Gluing the seams?

    I'm missing something here on glueing the slates together. Does the glue absorb through the sheetrock tape to adhere to both edges of the slates? That sheetrock tape is a bit thick to let the glue absorb through it. Just not understanding thoroughly.

    "Lock and load" the shoulder to control movement?

    Slow your stroke way, way, way, way down to a slow motion stroke until you can obtain the "pure" process that you want, then once you have the correct process then start to add bits of speed to your swing.

    Tip Covers

    These are not hard plastic, very soft and pliable, probably silicon. Less expensive from Amazon than the billiard store. As far as wiping the tip with a napkin or cloth. These are much easier. Slip it over the tip when your putting the joint protectors on.

    If any is interested, I purchased a bag of these from Amazon to cover my cue tip which in turn keeps lots of table chalk from getting inside my cue case. I have a collection of cues from 11.8mm up to 13mm and these fit them all. Here is the link...

    Your best thrift store, garage sale, or pawn shop billiard find

    I grabbed a New Image leather envelope case, 1 x 1, for $30 at a local Pawn Shop here in DFW. The broker said that there is an old house cue in there but what your buying is the leather case. That old house cue turned out to be a Les Blevins '95.
