Those rings were cotton based and moisture cause them to swell. This is the worst I've ever seen.

The cases are not being made overseas...or anywhere. Production of the cases has ceased for the moment. We are still making and stocking the tip tools, clamps, and accessories, just not the cases.

There are several ways to install a ferrule. Sleeved or threaded and in any and all tenon thicknesses. My advice; don't go changing the way the original ferrule was installed because you haven't learned that process. Keep the same material and method unless otherwise specified by the owner...
