    And as for the ferrule it was off colored when I got it and supposedly been sitting for 20+ years.I was told ivory discolors over time.

    I say cheap knockoff because our local cue guru told me it does look somewhat like a balabushka but with no signature or marks would have to assume its just a well made Taiwanese.
