I came across this on youtube today. Its a woodworker that looks like a serious pool player making a cue on a lathe (woodworking style, not cue-maker style). He uses epoxy as a core component of the butt of the cue.
I know its not how our cues are made, but I found it interesting and enjoyable to watch, and the video quality was really nice to boot.
