EARL STRICKLAND playing @ On The Snap Jan. 8-9

Earl Strickland drew B. J. Ussery (last year's player of the year on the Jacoby Tour) in the first round of the Jacoby Tournament being held this weekend at On The Snap Billiards in Fuquay-Varina (address below).

If you're in the area, come on out and see a living legend match up some of the best players in North Carolina plus a few from out-of-state!

A couple of other former players of the year, Michael Fuller and Chris Vollmar were in the draw, as well as Sidney Champion.

The final match is scheduled for 2:00 tomorrow (January 9).

Earl Strickland will be playing in the final match at 2:00.

Earl defeated B. J. Ussery in the first round (8-5), then Sidney Champion had tied it up at 5 games apiece before Earl closed it out (8-5). Earl won the hotseat by defeating Michael Fuller (8-4).

Michael and B. J. are playing right now to see who will face Earl in the final match. The score is 7-6 Fuller in a race to 8. B. J. has the table and can see the 6, but it is long.
