I visited this room recently to say hello to the owner whom I have known for years (Trevor Dentz).

He and I used to play at the old Blue Jay Cue Club in Ellicott City, MD back when we were teens.

Anyway, he bought this room (Magic 8) a while back and I wanted to share a little information about it.

There are seven Gold Crowns, one snooker table, a juke box, many snacks and drinks and a couple of fruit/poker machines. I think there is a bar box too, can't remember.

One of the criteria I use to evaluate any establishment is the condition of the bathrooms. Trevor's place has *very* clean bathrooms and everything works, which is a pleasant surprise for most pool rooms.

Overall, the place is very clean, the equipment is in great condition and the workers I have met are quite friendly.

Trevor has done a great job with this place, and being a player himself, he knows and respects what pool players need.

If you are ever in the area please stop by.

If I am there (Curtis) I will happily take the 7 and the last three...:)

I agree! I did a full day lesson in there a year ago, and Trevor couldn't have been nicer! Excellent equipment, and well cared for. Also, great lunch at the BBQ place right next door!

I did retire, but got bitten by the bug again. I think a lot of it has to do with watching Shane play over the years. I find him to be inspiring.
