mickey was an old pool hustler in dallas for years

quite a colorful character,i met him one night in a tournament

the only one i recall playing in

i was hoping to display my lack of ability and match up afterwards

i ended up beating bob van over and little al mason back to back
race to 3 9 ball before mickey stone destroyed me

we were never close friends but we shared referrals,i would tell him of places here i heard the action was good and he would occasionally send me into a place
where my skill set was useful

mickey lived to old age and became more and more mellow,as we all do

at my age many of the old crowd are passing away

RIP to my old friend

He was a good guy but you sure didn't want to cross him that's for sure.

I have many good memories of being around him and lots of crazy stories of him.

RIP, Micky. Knew Mickey for many years. Real nice guy, but did have a temper if you did something underhanded.

He loved to play and compete on the pool table. He also liked to buy, trade and
collect old fishing lures.

The Dallas/FtWorth pool world lost a very good man.

On a side note, Houston lost a cuemaker/pool enthusiast, Roger Allen to
Covid-19. RIP, Roger. He always knew what was happening in the Houston pool world.

RIP Mickey. It was an honor playing with you both as a teammate and competitor and also knowing you. Amos
