I remembered that the two object balls behind the one ball go outright, they don't have to bank and generally do not. Still to make them go we hit the rack with authority instead of the soft break (as in 9 ball) - which will only hurt the game and or make it it redundant.
It dont bank(isnt 100% accurate), it can bank but its more reliable if it goes straight in, it does get kicked out sometimes. Thats the weak link about the break. There is lots of traffic and it gets kicked on its way in. The balls have to be racked right. The small balls need to be racked at the back of the stack. Then the 1 ball has to be hit right at the right speed. This changes from table to table. With all that It takes someone who hits the ball good as you do and the right rack to make this a reliable break. Where in 9ball a few tricks and someone who hits them like me can make it work. I have zero chance in 10Ball to build a break shot, even tho I know how to.
thats the difference, seems that only top players can work the 10Ball rack and lots more players can work the 9Ball rack. IMO it takes a very strong player to be able to exploite the 10Ball rack.
