What are your most memorable matches you've ever seen on accustats? They dont have to be recent.

#2- Earl vs Efren, sands........etc, we all know which one
#1- 1989 or 1990, I believe it was Sands.
Anyway, Varner vs. Sigel, Varner was down 9-2 and corner hooked in a race to 11 and came back to hill-hill. On the hill he broke and ran up to the 9, DOGGED IT, and fluked into a win anyway.
To this day it is the greatest display of heart and talent that I have ever seen.
If you see Nick, just mention a crazy comeback against Sigel and he'll know which match you are referring to.
1.Archer vs. King James(9-ball)cuetechasaurus said:What are your most memorable matches you've ever seen on accustats? They dont have to be recent.

2.Sigel vs. Zuglan(staight pool,Sigel runs 150 and out)
3.Mark Tadd vs. Kim Davenport(9-ball)----Tadd should have won the match, but he got cocky!I am still ticked at Mark for that....LOL
desert1pocket said:3- Efren vs ? 1-pocket - it's the one where he is corner hooked in his own hole, and his opponents game winning ball is in the jaws. Efren rolls the cue on the spot, and spots a ball to block the shot. He ends up winning the game. I balme that shot as the reason I became addicted to 1-pocket.
cuetechasaurus said:I've seen those. The one with Varner, the wing ball was dead on every single rack. There was not one single game where the wing ball did not go straight in the corner on the break. Nick pretty much controlled the match from there, except later on when Sigel won one more game, but screwed up in the next IIRC. Nick missed an easy 9ball in the side pocket, but left Sigel frozen to the 9 with no shot. Sigel just slammed at the ball and sent the cueball flying off the table. He was PISSED!

Mark Tadd vs. Kim Davenport.cuetechasaurus said:What year and tournament was the Archer/Rempe match? And are you sure it was Tadd and Davenport? I saw a match where Mark Tadd played Sigel and kind of gave up, slamming balls around, and Sigel came back and won.
Tin Man said:I have heard this rumor, but have never seen the tape. I guess I just don't get it. If Efren was corner hooked, couldn't he just touch the cueball and take a foul? How would the resulting kick be any easier than the kick from the foot spot (especially when compounded the risk of rolling an inch too far and selling out all together, a risk that looms large even for Efren). Could someone set up a Wei table diagram of what really happened? If not, I am dismissing this as an urban legend.
