Here is my case

Thanks for this nice contest, John.

I thought I would hit a pool hall and take my pics there, but I won't be playing this week. so here are my pics taken at home.

1- my case and stuffs

My case is a butterfly signature case, I had to wrestle it off the hands of Chady from Taiwan (poolchady). John said it was designed by Karen and only 2 were made, one in black and one in brown. The JB butterfly line is really very functional, even though I dont carry many cues, I still prefer this to any of my hard cases (all JB's) as my daily traveling case, I simply can stuff anything I want in it.

You can see that I ordered a rugged sleeve for my Hager extension also.

The case came with a blue 4x8 interior, I recently ordered a modified black 4x6 interior from John, and use it as my daily carrier, as normally don't carry many cues.

And here goes what's inside the case:

- My main player is a Sugartree Bocote/BEM fancy sneaky. superb player. I use a black collar sugartree shaft with it just to keep 2 original shafts unhit :D. the tip on it is ZAN medium, great tip also.

- My breaker is also a Sugartree, with Koa handle and core, butt forearm and sleeve are Rosewood, the shaft is fat (close to 13.5mm), tip is Samsara break tip. this is a badass break cue.

- My jump cue is a Lomax, all original Lomax, best jump cue imo :)

- I have a Hager extension and have a rugged sleeve for it to carry outside of the case

- Maik Halmer personalized set: cue rest, ball marker and chalk holder, engraved "tcuong" and I use Cosmo chalk

- I am short-sighted and I have a pair of glasses also, specialized for pool only

- Other stuffs are finger wraps, gloves and coins

Enjoy and good luck to everyone!!!

P/s: Jan 31st is the traditional New Year in Vietnam and China, I really really hope I will get a New Year's gift from John Barton :)

nope. It is not a picture of I. So in this case it would be a picture of me or me and my wife or my wife and me.

Ding, ding, ding...we have a winner. Thanks, you saved me the trouble.

Mr. Hog, I believe (or maybe it's me believe :)) you would have been correct if the sentence were "My wife and I are seen here sporting our matching bags..."

I am just certain that none of you meticulously cleaned everything in and on your cases before taking these pictures. ;)

My stuff looks like it's been hit by exhaust from a chalk factory.

Buddy, if I could afford one of your cases I would be more than happy to enter and try to get another one.
You do some beautiful work though, keep it up!

I love the matching case and purse, 12squared.

Someday I will have the time and money to order something like this.

Right now, if I were to daydream, it would be a 1960 case and a cross-body bag that would hold an ipad, spiral notebook, wallet, etc.

-CPR Mask and Medical gloves
-Riviera Casino Chip from 2009 BCA Nationals
-Nitti playing cue
-Nitti break cue
-Breath Mints
-Masters chalk
-Hand towel
-Tip scuffer
-Q-Wiz

My new JB

New Ebony Lambros with Ultimate Joint. Alex Brick J/B, Magic Chalk and a few select Master. Some tips. I always carry some Milkduds for people at the room. They always ask me about tip preference and I just hand them one. First one is free:). Bag of pennies. How many times I have had to ask or been asked, hey gotta coin?

For your consideration

Just got this in today, one of the Deanoc call in deals he posted a few days ago. John made me a great deal on this Sephia case. I had been looking at it for weeks, saving my pennies when Karma kicked in and recognized what a great guy I am. :D Cues are safe and snuggly, holds all my stuff, and looks great too. Thanks John!

I'm a 53 year old APA member, so my case contents reflect that.

Predator Air Jump, Predator BK2 break cue. Jeff Olney custom cue with 2 shafts.

From left to right, Towel for those tense tournamenst when your palms are as sweaty as a hooker in church, glove for similar reasons.
Pen and pad because I'm 53.. memory is beginning to suck.
Souvenir Brothel poker chips as 8 ball pocket markers. Never been to one, but they make a cool small marker. Also... one day I might!
1 dollar coins for the all important flip for break. This president has the same initials as I do.
Williards tip tools, and pill box. For aspirin,(aches and pains and such), antacid for those pool hall eats, and Viagra because you just never know when you'll need that!
Lip balm, and hair bands.. OK, I'm an old hippie..
Shaft tools. As careful as we are, bars are hell on cues.
Pre flag chalk (anything for an edge), and cue claw.
Good luck charms. Dog tags, and the GF's panties. (Seems to work, and she gets a kick out of me keeping them) :D

Almost forgot... I shoot out of Rickochets for league, but at any of the fine establishments in our area the rest of the week.

Can't wait to show this baby off. (Except for the panties... those are just between us AZers).

The is a fun thread, love seeing all the cases, cues, and accessories everyone has.

Player Rick - love that Olney! I have a simple cue from him and it plays great, really want to get one with points and a pair of shafts for my next cue purchase.

here is my every-day carry case that i use when i play in my eight-ball league on wednesday nights at boston billiards in nashua, nh. it's a jb rugged 4x8, one of the lightest 4x8 cases i've ever owned. it houses my will adcock cocobolo break cue with a purpleheart shaft, my joe callaluca bocote player (full core the length of the butt), a a&e stabilized burl merry widow, a mike durbin stabilized maple merry widow, and all of my playing "tools":
