my 9-ball break is not strong so when I gamble I play 10-ball, question: do you have to hit the head ball when breaking a 10-ball rack?

Yes you have to hit the 1 ball. IMO you need a harder break in 10-ball. Johnnyt

Yes...

It's a rotation gaming meaning you have to hit the lowest numbered ball first...including the break!

I rack the 1 in the center and holler 'bad hit!' When the opponent cracks em.

Usually only works for 4 or 5 games, till they figure it out.

try hitting the center of the 1-ball from the center of the kitchen with medium-hard stroke. put back spin. the 2 balls right behind the 1 should roll on the direction going to the side pockets.
