I was one of the owners of poolhall junkies back in the day, we had two 9 footers and a bunch of bar boxes. 15 years ago, crazy how time flies.
Cushion and Cue is out of business, same with EO's, Ritz is gone too... we used to have a place here called Ya Butts (or spankys depending on the year) that was downtown and a good place to play, that's gone too :/. I've never been up to Ace Browns place, i'll have to swing up there to catch a real game on a 9 footer I suppose. The only place I know of that has gold crowns or equivelant left in all of salt lake county is the bowling alley in west valley mentioned earlier in the thread. Sucks the game is so run down here now :/.
Big Willies (formerly batters up) is really the best place in town for pool now even though they got rid of the one big table they had, there are a pretty good handful of quality players that go in there and kick around the golf table etc etc. Bar boxes are all diamonds in good shape.
I bought one of the gold crowns from EO's, the guy still has around 7-8 more of them I think if anyone is looking for one.
