Looks like a "owner" mark to me. Never seen a cue with such a crappy logo/signature.
Yep, probably a local builder. The marking is underneath the finish.
Is it "BP"? Got a pic of whole cue?

Nice looking wand there. I just can't see a builder putting that on there. Looks like owner initial'd it and sealed over it. Curious as to how this plays out.
Me too. A good friend is wanting to do a trade. This cue comes with the original shaft along with an OB shaft. I was on the table a bit this morning and it plays very well.

Nothing under the butt cap but a weight bolt. The marking could be "8P", but the back side of the letter B is straight which makes me want to lean more toward the mark being "BP".
Thats a nice looking cue with an ugly logo on it.

That logo does stick out pretty bad. It looks like the ink ran into the grain a bit.
I do not see any sane cue-maker sticking such an ugly signature that large right in the middle of an inlay. It's like having a 3 year old draw the ferrari logo on the side of the car before they put the clear-coat on.
Just talked to the owner. He’s pretty sure that the builder is located in Oklahoma.
I live in Ok. and i can't think of one maker with initials of BP. I'll check with Duane Remick.
