Planning a trip for New Years eve and going to the Saints game on the 1st. Can someone reccomend a decent hotel close by. Looking to spend about 85-105 a night. Thanks in advance.

good luck with that one. Dont think you will get anywhere near there, much less find one and be under 250 to 500. Big saints game and new years both are tough by themselves. Did you try the hotels.com and other online deals?
Ive searched La Quintas website. Avg price is about 100 a nite. I dont nec have to be close to the dome, we can take a cab. Just trying to see if anyone has any reccomendations. Also, as Ive never been, where are good places to eat and whats a good spot for New Years eve?

If you like crab meat you have to take her to the Bon Ton Cafe get the crab meat au gratin. Also if you like fried seafood go to Deani's was real good. You want a poboy go to Mahonys! Then take her to Emerils for dessert get the banana cream pie or the peanut butter one. You can't beat that shit man! I love New Orleans for food and fun!
