Delta 13 damage balls?

I am looking to get a Delta 13 rack. I have used it before in tournaments and it works great. I was planning to get one until I heard someone say it can damage the pool balls. I use a set of Aramith tv balls. I would obviously not be slamming the rack into balls, but would rubbing the balls against the rack when racking wear the balls out?

I cannot imagine how it would damage balls if used properly. I guess if you slam the edge of the rack down onto a ball it might chip the ball, but the balls rubbing agains the rack should not cause any damage.

I have one and I have good Aramith balls. It doesn't damage the ball at all. I don't believe I'll ever need another rack in my lifetime. JT

I've been using one for over a year now and it hasn't done any damage that I've noticed.:thumbup:
